Lecture Time
Here are the three classes i'm signed up for this semester at Columbia:
- I620 Narrative, Self, and Other: Men in Ministry
Explores the relationship between physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in men and the ways in which men care for themselves, even as they care for others. Focuses on personal theological narrative, spirituality, ethics, systems theory, and pastoral care, as well as readings, film, and fiction. Participants engage in the construction of a religious autobiography and attend an overnight mountain retreat. - I602 Preaching the Pauline Epistles
Explores Paul`s theology of preaching and seeks to help students develop skills for preaching from the Pauline epistles. In addition to exegeting Pauline texts, students will preach two sermons in class. - I630 - Jesus, Christology and the New Testament
This course will look at a variety of Christological claims and narratives in the New Testament and at interpretations of these claims by several contemporary theologians.
I have class on Monday 1-4:30, Wed 1-4:30, Thurs 1-4 and a Thesis writing seminar thing on Friday mornings. The next trick is to wake up early (something i struggle with) and go to the campus to get work done. Like today. So i'm going!
