(again - some random reading because i won't be posting for a while)
Here is a great site that shows just how foreign some of the Bible can seem. The Bible in Lego! It is really funny! The section on the Law makes me shudder, and shows how foreign some of it seems. Do we still read all of it, and believe all of it? Is the bible really all true? If so, why don't we still listen to it (and do the crazy things it says). Really crazy things!
